You might as well call this post “The Faces of Zach” because that’s pretty much what it ended up being.
We spent today north of Santa Cruz in Pescadero, CA with my parents in memory of my grandparents who passed 12 years ago. That being said, we had a nice, fun and relaxing day just enjoying each other’s company…just like they used to do when they used to spend their weekends in Pescadero, which is why we like to go there to remember them. This post is not at all sad or somber, it’s actually pretty funny because, like I said, “The Faces of Zach.”
I hope you enjoy these pictures of our day in the Santa Cruz mountains at Beauregard Vineyards, where we went wine tasting before heading to the State Beach; also, the pretty views we had on this beautiful day in Pescadero, both overlooking the ocean and visiting little antique stores in the small town. We had a good, relaxing time today, so I thought I’d share our fun Sunday.
So mischievous, encouraged by my mom of course!
Beauregard Vineyards put this grassy knoll below their tasting room for folks to get married at. It’s very beautiful, with a little river running on the other side of the fence (which is made out of the original vineyard stakes from the now-owners great grandfather!).
PS- Look how handsome my man is! :)
Mom & I at Pescadero State Beach where I successfully self-timed this picture, even though I had my trusty 2nd shooter present.
The town of Pescadero was REALLY into cats…at multiple places, we saw cat figures in all types of items. From cat-Buddha’s to cat-walking stones. Probably one of the most amusing things we saw today was a book about “How to Make Your Life Suck.” Um, what?
Fun fact, which I learned about more recently, my mom used to 2nd shoot/assist for a wedding photographer when she was younger. She’s pretty funny when she gets behind my camera, especially when she’s trying to pose us. She did pretty good this time:
I hope you all had a fun and relaxing Sunday like we did!
