The time has come!! Like I said in the preview blog post, I have been shaking in my, now, sneakers waiting to show you these pictures of the beautiful Natalie at the even-more beautiful (sorry, Natalie :)) Bella Montagna estate in the rolling hills of San Jose, CA! One of my favorite parts about new wedding venues is scoping out all it’s unique-ness to photograph. This helps me prepare as a photographer and allows me to capture my clients in the most wonderfully flattering light. Natalie and I enjoyed the gorgeous views of the city of San Jose on this bright sunny day, with a little bit of foggy-haze covering the city. One of my favorites parts about this wedding venue is that you have two different backdrops or “views” for two very different (and dare I say, romantic!) “looks.” You have the east hills of San Jose and then you have the city. My only regret about this wedding venue is that we didn’t stay until dark to see the city light up! I’m sure the owner’s probably didn’t want overnight guests though ;) I was so impressed how beautiful the landscaping was at Bella Montagna, I couldn’t imagine it getting any better until we were reminded it’s not spring *duh* and nothing is in bloom! If it were though, you can imagine gorgeous little vineyards and colorful trees for your wedding at this amazing venue!

This arbor is kind of the “center stage” of the venue, ideal for the alter at the ceremony or bridal party’s dinner table at the reception.
This is a separate deck to the right of the central grass area. Look at the view!
Check THIS out! One of the coolest parts of this venue was it’s outdoor kitchen on a lower deck for your wedding reception!
Okay, so I had a lot of favorite things about this venue I guess…because another one is the more permanent lights strewn over the lawn area for the night time. My little brain is just reeling with excitement for the photo ops!
This little treasure was the front walkway of the house at Bella Montagna, ideal place for a “first look” because of it’s privacy and beautiful light!
Just to give some perspective of the two views of San Jose. Past the house is the grassy area and arbor with the city views, behind are the mountains.
There’s also a built in “salon” for the bride and her party to get ready and hide out before the grooms arrives! Pretty cool!

Hi Majesta, If you happen to have any contact info to this venue, I would appreciate it! I’m considering this venue for my wedding later this year but I’m struggling on trying to find any contact info. Happy New year!
Hi Margarita! I’m not sure if they’re still open. I would Google the venue and see if they have contact info. I haven’t been in touch with them in 10 years, sorry I’m no help!
