Yesterday was an exciting day! I finally got to photograph a proposal and it was SUCH a special event! Marc, a past coworker and friend, contacted me a couple weeks with his plan in the works to propose to Jacquelyn and I gave him a resounding OF COURSE when he asked me photograph it.

Jacquelyn pulled up to Branham High School, where Marc played football in high school and Jacquelyn was a cheerleader; unsuspecting, when the singer of the band Drive! delivered a letter to her from Marc, explaining that she would be blindfolded and taken to meet him! Let me just say…I never knew Marc as a romantic guy but he DEFINITELY pulled out all the stops! So impressive! And while she was led to the football field to meet Marc Drive! serenaded her to the tune of…ohhhh, just the best song ever! Wanted by Hunter Hayes. Happy tears flowed as she soaked in what was going on, I can imagine she was more than anxious to see him!

Marc met Jacquelyn with rose petals surrounding them on their high school football field, as the band continued to play, Marc dropped to one knee and asked Jacquelyn to marry him! It was so special and so sweet. My favorite memory from witnessing this, Jacquelyn repeatedly telling Marc, “We’re getting MARRIED!!!” I was flooded with memories from when Zach proposed to me and it just made me that more excited for them!
