Where do I begin?! We trekked down to Santa Maria last month to photograph these two special people get married and we seriously couldn’t be happier for them.

They held a beautiful wedding at a local park down the street from their house and it couldn’t have been more picturesque. Their black magic and vibrant red roses were the perfect pop of color. Sandra’s bouquet was stunning and you know what? She made it herself! Her shawl made out of a piece of linen brought to her seamstress, plenty of DIY projects to go around :) And you can’t forget the hidden Mickey’s! Look for them on Sandra’s dress and wedding cake – there are probably more elsewhere but they were hidden!

Sandra’s Facebook update the morning of the wedding:  “Trying to take off my Wedding Planner Hat and put on my Brides Feather and ENJOY!!!!” And so she did :)

A precious gift from her maid of honor, she passed down the last gift that she gave Sandra’s mother before she passed away. It’s moment’s like these people! These are what matter :)

Homemade cakepops anyone? Yes please!

Scott is so sweet! While he waited for Sandra to walk down the aisle, he picked out roses from their arrangements to give to all the special women in his life. All of their daughters and mothers :)

Scott’s a firefighter soooo it was only fitting right?!

Sandra had the baker create a groom’s cake in the shape of Scott’s helmet! What! Even Scott had to do a double take!
